Astrology is a science. But hardcore scientists seldom will acknowledge this branch of science. Systematic and structured approach to a subject yielding reproducible results is science. However, the predictions sometimes have not been consistent and results have varied from person to person.
These inconsistencies have been attributed to the wrong time of birth recorded or to the lack of intelligent professional astrologers who have not been exposed to formal structured courses under the strict scrutiny of scholars.
Such scholars have dedicated their entire lives in search of the sublime truth in translating the permutation and combination of planets in various zodiac to intelligent meaning rather than converting the science to money making pursuits.
In this light, Suresh’s tireless effort in bringing out the publication Astrology The Supreme Science is extremely timely.
The uniqueness of this book is the priceless, simple analogies to make us understand the complex principles of astrology and to initiate the most uninterested in astrology to grasp elementary but fundamental principles found in this science.
Combining strong fundamentals of physics and astronomy, Suresh cleverly paints in our mind the tapestry of the subtle influence of planets in our lives. He argues his points, through strong illustrations of scientific research-based evidence, on the effects of electromagnetism exerted by planets that orbit millions of miles away to our most intimate thoughts.
The modern youth, whose life is thrown into the most uncertain period of existence, screams for a basis to explain and rationalise the changes he or she experiences in life. When the mind cannot substantiate or justify, it can border on insanity. It is for this reason tradition and culture embeds within a strong knowledge base of nature and its workings on man.
A strong cultured man steeped with understanding his tradition will be bestowed a refinement of thoughts, a positive outlook of life and an intelligent confidence to face all life’s challenges. Astrology does just this but the pearls of wisdom lie beneath the deep sea and it is the likes of Suresh who can help us better understand this science.
Suresh’s well of wisdom is drawn from his own depth of experiences which has evolved him from an unbeliever of astrology to a professional astrologer, helping and guiding hundreds to their respective destinies.
Youths and many others will benefit from this publication. Suresh has married esoteric philosophies found in ancient stories with modern science and has not hesitated to question unquestionable traditions. In doing so, he has peeled away the superstitious beliefs and folklore and left cold, logical facts which undeniably leaves little choice but to be accepted by modern day scientists.
Being a scientist myself and an earnest seeker of truth in astrology, I found immense pleasure in reading this book. It has fanned my curiosity further, given me pride in the traditions of the past, helped me to rationalise many unjustifiable facts that existed and helped me to fill the glaring gaps of knowledge.
I congratulate Suresh for this excellent work and look forward to the sequel.
